The National Park boasts some of the most stunning scenery in the world from the breathtaking mountains and glens of the Trossachs to the vast tranquil beauty of Loch Lomond, mainland UK’s largest body of water.
There’s always more to explore and activities to suit everyone, all of which is only enhanced by having Scotland’s first National Park as your backdrop.
In 2016, The Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park will be showcasing their innovative approach to helping people enjoy this amazing place. From the iconic scenic routes project to our award winning businesses and creative communities, there’s so much to explore.
The BLiSS Trail
Thirteen striking installations form a new arts trail set amidst the breathtaking landscapes of Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. The unique BLiSS trail links the villages of Balquhidder, Lochearnhead, Strathyre and St Fillans, deep in the heart of ‘Rob Roy Country’. The initiative is the brainchild of LETi, the Loch Earn Tourism Information group.
Look out for a life-sized, multi-coloured metal bull, crafted by the artist behind Edinburgh Airport’s iconic towering thistles, and a stunning mirrored scenery-viewing cube which ‘disappears’ into its beautiful surroundings.
