New Bridge Over Bracklinn Falls near Balqhidder Mhor Lodges
There is a fantastic walk above Callander which takes you over the Bracklinn waterfalls. Completing the 3.5 mile circuit has not been possible recently as the powerful waterfalls kept washing away the bridge. The £110k bridge erected in 20210 only lasted 6 years. The new steel bridge should stand the test of time!

Auld Lang Syne is a great Scots tradition to sing on New Years Eve....a nod to remember good times gone by. Prince gave a great performance of this Burns ditto on Hogmany 1987 at Paisley Park....the opening bars are the chords for Purple Rain...then Prince makes his entrance, which is where we pick it up, and he gives his rendition (some nice licks at the end for the rockers)....enjoy....Happy New Year from Balquhidder Mhor Lodge!
