The BLiSS trail - Art installations in The Trossachs and Loch Lomond

The White Stag in Strathyre has a very cool pair of shades on! Formerly the Inn and Bistro; Stirlingshire's Rural Pub of the Year for 2017. Check out the beers and the great food, not to mention the roaring fire. A 3 mile walk from Balquhidder Mhor Lodge if you get the bus back (tip: check out the bus timetable for your last orders!)

Canada Geese in the Otter Pond near Balquhidder Mhor Lodge
The Canada Geese that occupy the Otter Pond near Balquhidder Mhor find a new home for the winter....not sure if they are migratory.....but anyway the first two (of many) have made a re-appearance.....noisy blighters!
